The AMBS (Affordances for Motor Behavior of Schoolchildren) was developed by researchers of the Laboratory of Motor Behavior, Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, Universidade de Lisboa, of Escola Superior de Desporto e Lazer de Melgaço, IPVC (Portugal) and of Grupo de Desenvolvimento Motor, Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (Brazil). Its purpose is to collect information about the characteristics of the environments, materials and people that are part of the daily life of the child and may influence motor learning, motor competence and motor development.
